Are you feeling a little sluggish? I recommend upping your exercise as well as doing a healthy detox. Fruit and vegetables are not only something to eat at lunch or dinner. They can be mixed together to create a delicious smoothie or juice in order to detox your system in a healthy manor.
Just wanted to share my recent experience with you along with some delicious recipes! My husband and I did this for a total of 3 days and felt great afterwards.
A Health Detox – The Plan
To start with, we went to buy our ingredients. We set a budget the same as we would for our normal weekly shop and were shocked at how much fresh fruit and veg we were able to purchase for roughly the same price. Seeing the bright colors within our shopping cart was uplifting to see! Both Oliver and I really felt excited for the upcoming 3 day health detox challenge.
We started the healthy detox and to begin with, well we were starving! We found ourselves drinking multiple smoothies or juices to keep ourselves feeling fully satisfied. After the first couple of meals, we slowly felt the adjustment set on and began to more fully enjoy it all. Mixing up our fruit and veg was just so simple – not to mention it tasted so delicious. After just a single day of doing this, we were truly feeling fantastic! We felt more energized and a lot less bloated. The fatigue we felt faded and with each juice or smoothie we felt ourselves become more assertive and healthy. Concluding our 3 days I had lost a little bit of weight, felt fantastic, and my husband overall felt more settled and energized.
Who knew shaking up some delicious and all natural smoothies or juice could make us feel so different and a lot healthier?!
I recommend doing this healthy detox 2/3 times a year. It’s an extremely easy way to get your body feeling energized and renewed!
